Her ears pounded and the other cat's warning seemed like a faint cry. She panicked but slowly jumped higher to different branches. The fox came and jumped into the air trying to snap at her tail... She yowled and scrambled higher but fell back to a low branch.

Scarletdrop peered out of her den and yawned. The morning sun rays blinded her for a moment and she blinked the brightness away. She looked around and walked slowly out of her den to the clearing. She stretched and thought of what to do today...

The she-cat felt her tail fur be ripped from the tip of her tail so she bolted higher as if she was flying. The fox was satisfied as it pulled out some fur. It sniffed the ground and narrowed its eyes. As it turned around a grin crept over its face. It spotted the other cat and snarled.

Scarletdrop's neck fur rised as she didn't notice her leader. She turned around and let her neck fur lay flat again. "You scared the fur right off of me!" She sighed slightly and smiled, "I'm great now. How bout you, Rainstar?" She smiled and sat down, giving her tail a few quick licks.
